A Peek Into the Future of BaZi & Astrology

As the year draws to a close, I have been looking back on what 2025 has been for me. It has been a bruising year. Difficult, tiring, and at times quite lonely. Yet it has also been one of the most rewarding years of my life, because this was the year I launched my own AI Four Pillars of Destiny (BaZi) platform and proved that authentic metaphysics can live in the age of artificial intelligence.

The internet had already allowed me to reach people all over the world. I have consulted on charts for clients I have never met in person, across time zones and continents, and I am grateful for that. But it quickly became clear that if I wanted to bring rigorous, classical astrology to a much wider audience, human one-to-one consultations would never be enough. I had to build something with AI, or accept that my work would always be limited by the number of hours I can personally sit in front of a screen.

So I did the uncomfortable thing. I split my time between consultations, learning to code, working with AI APIs, and slowly piecing together the platform from scratch. No agency, no team of developers, no shortcuts. Just me, my notes, my BaZi books, and a lot of trial and error. It took about six months and countless late nights before the first working version went live.

Why I Brought AI Into BaZi

Over the next decade, I believe most metaphysics consultations will involve AI in some form. The reason is practical: it is the only realistic way for most people to get technically grounded consultations at an accessible price.

Right now, many people pay substantial fees for consultations that come with little technical reference. One consultant tells you everything looks promising; another says your chart is difficult. Neither shows you how they arrived at that conclusion. After reviewing reports from various practitioners that clients brought to me over the years, I have seen how inconsistent the standard of interpretation can be across the field.

What I see are two extremes. On one side, the consultant who agrees with everything you say and never offers a different perspective. On the other side, the consultant who emphasizes only the negative and calls it honesty. Both approaches can leave people confused and no closer to understanding their chart.

That is one of the main reasons I built the AI BaZi platform the way I did. Every answer the AI gives is anchored in the person's own birth chart: their natal pillars, decade phases, and annual phases. It does not generate interpretations from templates. Behind every response is a technical reference in the chart.

I built the AI to respectfully disagree with you when a plan goes against the structure of your chart. If your idea runs against your natal configuration and the phase you are currently in, the AI will say so, and explain why. If your choices are aligned with your chart, it will encourage you and suggest how to strengthen your timing. It is there to read the chart properly and speak plainly, without flattery or alarm.

The Return of Astrology

There is a clear resurgence in curiosity about astrology, philosophy, and metaphysics. You can already feel it. Interest in organized religion is declining in many parts of the world. People are tired of repeating social scripts about career, marriage, and success that do not fit who they are. They are looking for frameworks that explain why their lives feel the way they do, and where they can realistically go from here.

Astrology used to be part of serious intellectual life. It fell out of mainstream favor in the 18th century when the world pivoted to hard sciences that powered the Industrial Revolution. That pivot gave us phenomenal material progress, but it also pushed metaphysics into the shadows and left many people without a personal framework for self-understanding. Two hundred years later, we are living with the side effects. Technology has advanced enormously, but a lot of people are asking, "Is this all there is?"

That question is bringing people back toward metaphysics, and astrology is one of the main doors they are walking through. The difference this time is that we are stepping into the AI age at the same time.

Period 9 and the AI Age

In Chinese metaphysics, Period 9, the Li fire period that began in 2024, marks the start of a new era that runs until 2043. This is the period associated with the full emergence of AI and information technology. You can already see it in how quickly AI has moved from a curiosity to an everyday tool.

AI will change how we work, and also how people access authentic knowledge, including astrology and metaphysics. In the coming years, we will have AI consultations available around the world, around the clock, in multiple languages, with the underlying logic anchored in classical sources.

What this means for the field is significant. Once people experience chart-referenced, technically consistent consultations, vague or personality-driven ones will struggle to compete. The practitioners who know their craft and are willing to work with AI will thrive. Those who rely on charisma over substance will find their audience shrinking.

This is an opportunity for the field to raise its standards, and for people everywhere to access the kind of consultation that used to be reserved for those who could find and afford a skilled practitioner.

What Comes Next

This AI BaZi platform is only the first step. It proves that a technical, classical system can be made accessible through AI without being diluted. From here, my focus is to keep building so that authentic astrology becomes more accessible in the AI era.

The long-term goal is straightforward: anyone, anywhere in the world, should be able to get a clear, technically sound consultation on demand, rooted in classical knowledge and available in their language, without being at the mercy of someone's mood, availability, or personal biases.
