ZWDS is a Chinese astrology system that uses a natal chart with twelve Palaces. Each Palace governs several aspects of your life.
1) Life Palace (命宫, Ming Gong)
This is the core of your chart. It shows your personality, life path, strengths, and challenges. It also hints at your wealth potential when paired with the Wealth Palace.
2) Siblings Palace (兄弟宫, Xiong Di Gong)
Covers relationships with siblings, close friends, and mother. Counted from the Parents Palace, the Siblings Palace is the parents' Marriage Palace, which is why it also shows the mother. Forming an axis with the Friends Palace opposite, it affects career success and cash flow.
3) Marriage Palace (夫妻宫, Fu Qi Gong)
Governs romance, marriage, and equal business partnerships. It reveals compatibility, relationship challenges, and collaborative potential.
4) Children Palace (子女宫, Zi Nu Gong)
Rules connections with kids, creativity, subordinates and students (if you teach). It also relates to hobbies and minority shareholders in your business.
5) Wealth Palace (财帛宫, Cai Bo Gong)
Focuses on money habits, income sources, and financial management. View together with the Life Palace to estimate your wealth potential.
6) Health Palace (疾厄宫, Ji E Gong)
Reveals physical and mental health risks. It also represents the place where you make money. Forming an axis with the Parents Palace, it governs your personal reputation and educational qualifications.
7) Travel Palace (迁移宫, Qian Yi Gong)
Governs long distance travel, movement, new opportunities, and acquaintances. Shows how you handle change and grow through new experiences.
8) Friends Palace (交友宫, Jiao You Gong)
Covers your immediate superiors, clients, friendships, social networks, and coworkers. It is also important to your marriage, as it indicates the Health of your Marriage Palace.
9) Career Palace (官禄宫, Guan Lu Gong)
Rules your job, career success, and overall standing in life. A strong palace tends to show leadership potential and good career advancement. A Hua Ji Transformation here tends to show where work or business may be disrupted, and calls for extra care there.
10) Property Palace (田宅宫, Tian Zhai Gong)
Manages property, family stability, and wealth storage. A Hua Ji Transformation in the Children Palace opposite can point to a risk of losing assets.
11) Fortune Palace (福德宫, Fu De Gong)
Reflects inner happiness and personal and ancestral karma. A weak Fortune Palace or Hua Ji Transformation here tends to weigh on income and finances. It also reflects your ties to the wider society.
12) Parents Palace (父母宫, Fu Mu Gong)
Covers relationships with parents, bosses, and financial institutions. It also influences your reputation and ties to authority figures.
